Santa Pod’s drag strip is open to all Vauxhall drivers at the PV Show. Just turn up with your
driving licence and sign on in the office at the start of the strip.

On Sunday the fastest cars in each of the following categories will win great prizes:

• Under - 1800 NA (e.g. Astra 1.8 SXi, Nova GTE 1600, Corsa Sport)
• 1800 - 1999 NA (e.g. C20XE class, 2.0 eight-valvers, 2.0 Ecotecs)
• 2000 - 2999 NA and FI up to 3.0 (e.g. Carlton GSi, Vectra GSi, Vectra VXR)
• 3000 and over NA and FI (e.g. Monaros, Lotus Carltons)
• Under - 2000 FI (e.g. C20LET/Z20LET class)

Drag strip open from 2pm-8pm Saturday / 10am-5pm Sunday
Pay on the day at the sign-on office at the start of the strip

Saturday £20 for unlimited runs. Sunday £15 for 3 runs

* NA – naturally aspirated * FI – forced induction (turbo/supercharged)

» You will need a full current UK (or other EU
state) driving licence

Q. Do I need a race licence to run my car
on the strip?
A. No, just a full UK (or other EU state)
driving licence

Q. Can I take passengers on track with me?
A. No

Q. What time should I arrive?
A. Gates will open to the public at 12pm
Saturday and 9am Sunday. You need to go
to the signing-on office as early as possible
to guarantee your strip tickets

Q. Where do I get my timing slips from?
A. The sign-on office at the start of the strip

Q. My licence is away at the DVLA/police station. Can I bring a photocopy?
A. No. You must bring the original (both
parts if you have a photo card licence)
