Join us in 2018 for the Performance Vauxhall Show featuring non-stop Vauxhall action on the legendary Santa Pod drag strip. See thousands of amazing Vauxhall’s on display from the early models through to the latest VXR hot-hatch incarnations on display. Expect a jam-packed day of action on the famous drag strip celebrating Britain’s top selling manufacturer!  

The Performance Vauxhall Show takes place at Santa Pod Raceway, Airfield Road, Podington, Wellingborough, Northants NN29 7XA. As Santa Pod Raceway is in a rural location, there are no direct links to public transport. Wellingborough is the nearest town and taxis can be found outside the train station.

Public: 9.00am - 5.00pm 

Club: 06.30 - 17.30

Camping Opening Times

Saturday access for camping is from 12:00pm last entry for camping is 10:00pm. Entertainment and bar closes at midnight.

If you arrive before 12:00pm on Saturday you will need to pay for a Santa Pod RWYB entry ticket priced at £10 per person in addition to your weekend ticket. Due to traffic congestion, waiting outside the gates to Santa Pod will not be permitted.

DISPLAY YOUR CAR

Not a member of a club and still want to show off your pride and joy? Purchase an Individual Display Add-On for just £2.00 extra.

Two children aged 14 and under go FREE with each paying adult. Additional children are £5 each.

Advance tickets close midnight Saturday before the show. *All bookings are subject to a £2.00 booking fee per order.

This does not include entry to the Sunday show, a camping ticket must be purchased in conjunction with a show ticket unless you are already in possession of a show ticket. Weekend tickets do not include child camping, this will need to be purchased on the gate at £10 each – under 5’s go free.

There will be a dedicated RWYB from 17:30 until 20:00 at £10 for unlimited runs for camping ticket holders. 

Tickets are available to purchase on the day only from the sign-in office (subject to availability). Passenger tickets can also be purchased on the day for £10. Drivers will be required to show their full UK (or other EU state) driving licence. Tickets are valid all day.

Disabled Visitors

As part of our commitment to make the PV Show accessible to all we will provide those disabled ticket holders that require full time assistance with 1 free ticket for a partner, accompanying friend or personal assistant (PA). You will need to provide a copy of your most recent Personal Independence Payment form (PIP) showing your current entitlement and your ‘blue badge’ if car parking is required. On arrival at the show please liaise with the staff on the gates when presenting your entry ticket.

Parking

Parking is free at Performance Vauxhall Show; the marshals will direct you on your arrival.

Dogs

Due to restrictions by the venue no animals are permitted on site, apart from guide dogs.

What time does the show open?

Gates are open to the public from 09.00am and closes at 5.00pm.

Will there be a cash point on site?      

Yes, there are TWO cash points at Santa Pod. One is located near the Fuellers Bar in the catering area, and the second is located in the Pod Shop. 

Are credit cards accepted on the gate?

Yes, credit cards can be used on the gate.

Is the event solely for Vauxhalls?

Yes, it’s a show purely for all Vauxhall models.

Can I bring my pet?

No animals of any kind are allowed onto the site.

Is there a bar on site?

Alcohol is sold on site at Fuelers bar.

Are there food units on site?

There are many food units and a permanent on site cafeteria open throughout the day.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Yes you can bring food and drink into the venue. Glass bottles are not permitted and will be confiscated at the main entrance.

Will there be someone taking photos of the cars for me to purchase on the day?

Yes there will be a photographer and more information will be found in our show guide.

Are BBQ’s allowed on site?

Charcoal BBQ's are permitted on site. Open fires are not allowed and you will be asked to extinguish them by security.

Are there any concessions for people with disabilities?

How can I buy a ticket?

Tickets are purchased online and can also be purchased on the gate. 

Can I get a refund for my tickets once I've bought them?

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable – click here to view our full terms and conditions If you have taken out refund protection please visit http://www.bookingprotect.com/refund/ where you will be taken through the refund process. 

Will I be able to buy a ticket on the gate?

Yes you can buy tickets on the gate from 9:00am. 

Do I need to bring ID with me to gain entry? Yes. You will need to bring with you the card you purchased the tickets with and photo ID card (such as your driving licence) along with your ticket clearly printed or viewable on your mobile phone to gain entry. If you are unable to provide sufficient ID or your ticket has already been scanned, you will be asked to pay the full entry price on the gate.
What do I do if I want to buy a ticket for a gift? You will be asked during the transaction who you are buying the ticket for, you must type in the recipient’s name here. They should bring the confirmation email, ticket and relevant ID to confirm they're the named recipient given during the order.
My tickets haven’t arrived yet when will I get them? Tickets are emailed out to you upon confirmation of payment.  Please check your junk or spam folder just in case. If you have not received your ticket please contact a member of our team.

If you haven’t received your ticket and you are on the way to the event don’t panic! 

The ticket collection point is located in the main building to the right – there will be a directional sign posted above the door

Do I have to purchase a ticket for my child?

Entry is FREE for 2 children aged 14 and under when accompanied by a paying adult . Additional children are £5 each.  You are responsible for any children who attend the event with you and you must ensure that they comply with these terms and conditions.

Is there car parking available?

Yes, there is a public car park available free of charge.

Is there disabled parking?

Yes, there is a disabled parking area, please ask on the gate for a pass and the marshalls will direct you.

Is there any way that I can park my car in the show rather than in the public car park?

Yes. If you are not part of a Club or Show & Shine please purchase an Individual Display ticket.

Can we camp the night before?

There is camping on site at Santa Pod on the Saturday only. You can arrive on Saturday from 12 noon until 10.00pm.

Are there toilets on site for campers?

Yes, there are plenty of toilets on site open 24hrs.

Are there showers on site?

Yes, there are free showers available.

Are there electrical connections on site?

No, there are not any electrical hook ups available.

Can I bring my caravan/trailer tent/motor home?

Yes you can bring any of these but please note that camping is on grass.

Is there a family/quiet campsite?

Yes there is a separate campsite for anyone wanting a quieter area. Please just ask at the gate and you will be given a separate campsite pass.

Can I have a bbq?

Yes charcoal bbqs are allowed within the campsites.

Can I have a fire?

No fires are allowed on site and will be extinguished by security.

Are there medical services on site?

Yes there are 24 hour medical services on site if needed.

Can I park my car next to my tent?

Yes, you can park next to your tent.

Can I leave site and then come back in?

Yes, but you will need a pass out and will not be allowed out after 10.00pm.

Do children require a camping ticket?

Yes, Children aged 14 and under will also require a camping ticket. Child camping tickets are priced at £10 on the day, under 5's go FREE.
